“Laughter is the best medicine” from The Secret Language of Birthdays by Gary Goldschneider & Joost Elffers
“Nathanael was hard to get a hold of. We had been messaging back and forth trying to arrange a date and time to shoot. When we finally managed to find the time, we had lass than 30 mins to shoot before the sun set. We shot by the Pearson Airport. An are chosen by Nathanael and that he discovered in one of his many drives to work. During the shoot, he kept telling me how his mom says he looks like Jesus with his long hair. We laughed, a lot. And I took some funny photos of him to send to his mom. This one though, in my opinion, best reflects him – a quiet, kinda shy guy but when you give him some space, brings out the biggest smile.”
