An Interview with Harlow

Q. What is your best memory/moment from one of your past birthdays?

A. I just had my first birthday party this year and it was a princess party so all my friends came dressed up. I dressed up like Elsa cause she’s my favourite and Layla, my little sister, dressed up like Anna and we had special cupcakes and an Elsa balloon that was bigger than my dad.

Q. How about the worst? And why?

A. I don’t remember any bad ones.

Q. What was the present you’ve received for your birthday that most surprised you?

A. My friend Lily gave me a princess magnet set that you got to make the princesses than paint them and then stick the magnets.

Q. Is there one food or dish that you insist on eating during your birthday celebration?

A. Frozen cake, my mom made it and it had icebergs on it and I want it for every birthday.

Q. What do you believe is the most important aspect of celebrating a birthday?

A. My family and my friends.

Q. Do you/your family/culture have any traditions/rituals/ceremonies that are performed to celebrate birthdays? What is it?

A. No.
