I had the pleasure of meeting Graham while we worked for Canon Canada in 2014. Graham is one of those super nice funny guys that everyone loves. We shot this image the day after his last day of work at Canon… he was pretty excited as he recently got a job in the film industry, something that he is a huge fan of. After discussing about the shoot and his interests, we agreed that it was appropriate to shoot somewhere like this movie theatre that he frequented on a regular basis. To new adventures, wishing you luck on this next phase of your life.  – Camila G

An Interview with Graham

Q. What is your best memory/moment from one of your past birthdays?

A. I really enjoy celebrating my birthdays.  There is always something fun to take away and remember.  When I was 21, my parents surprised me with a trip to Disneyland as a special celebration.  A week away in the sunshine was the best gift ever!

Q. How about the worst? And why?

A. Ironically, the worst birthday was my next birthday.  22 was the first birthday I had to celebrate without my father who died the preceding year, shortly after our Disney vacation.

Q. What was the present you’ve received for your birthday that most surprised you?

A. Definitely the trip to Disney.

Q. Is there one food or dish that you insist in eating during your birthday celebration?

A. Chocolate cake of course!

Q. What do you believe is the most important aspect of celebrating a birthday?

A. I think the most important part is taking stock of your achievements during the past year, then planning what you want to accomplish before your next birthday.

Q. Do you/your family/culture have any traditions/rituals/ceremonies that are performed to celebrate birthdays? What is it?

A. We don’t have any particular rituals.
