“Youth is becoming to a younger person, age to an older one” from The Secret Language of Birthdays by Gary Goldschneider & Joost Elffers
“Chrissy is a huge Star Wars fan and mildly obsessed with the sky… I mean, she loves star gazing and planet watching. She spent a good amount of time at her university’s observatory during her school years and chose it as the location she wanted to shoot at. It was raining quite a bit when we were there, not allowing us to open the gate to the sky but the space in itself was cool enough with a huge telescope and a bunch of keyboards and controls. It was pretty cool to get to learn a bit more the equipment and see how big they are.” – Camila G

An Interview with Chrissy
Q. What is the best memory you have from a previous birthday?
A. The best birthday memory was when I turned 31. So many lovey people from all aspects of my life came out to celebrate. Just watching everyone get along and make new friendships just melts my heart.
Q. How about the worst? And why?
A. I can’t say I’ve had a bad birthday experience. If anything, the worse would be if I decided to stay home and relax. Not too bad in my mind.
Q. What was the present you’ve received for your birthday that surprised you most?
A. The best gift was from my amazing and loving boyfriend, Mikey Orso. He bought me a REAL rock from Mars for my 32nd birthday. Best.gift.ever! It would be hard to beat that one! Maybe a rock from the moon next…?! lol
Q. Is there a food or dish that you insist on eating on your birthday?
A. No food demands over here. If I had to pick… I’m always down for a good taco. lol
Q. What do you believe is the most important aspect of celebrating a birthday?
A. Being with people who love and respect you.
Q. Do you have any traditions or thing you always do to celebrate a birthday? What is it?
A. I really don’t have a birthday tradition. But I do love when I see people celebrate their “birthday month.” I get a real kick out of that! lol
