An Interview with Chris

Q. What is the best memory you have from a previous birthday?

A. My wife surprised me for my 40th birthday with a trip to Costa Rica and had made arrangements for friends to randomly join us there in various locations as we toured around. Incredible birthday surprise!

Q. How about the worst? And why?

A. I don’t have one. It’s my birthday – how could it be anything but great?!

Q. What was the present you’ve received for your birthday that surprised you most?

A. A limo ride and hockey tickets to watch the Flames/Oilers in Edmonton. And to top it off… the Flames won!

Q. Is there a food or dish that you insist on eating on your birthday?

A. I’m really not too picky. In general though, anything that a child might enjoy. Hot dogs, pizza, hamburgers, etc,

Q. What do you believe is the most important aspect of celebrating a birthday?

A. Birthdays are very special at our house. If it’s your birthday, everyone knows it’s your day and you pretty much get treated like royalty.

Q. Do you have any traditions or thing you always do to celebrate a birthday? What is it?

A. Lately it seems like we are often travelling somewhere warm on my birthday. So I’ll say that’s my new tradition, or maybe that’s just me hoping it continues to be tradition!
